Parinya Phongphan
Bangkok · Mechanical Overhaul
Brought in an ETA 2824 that had been running about three minutes slow per day. Kritsada was straightforward about what needed doing and gave me a quote before touching anything. Picked it up eight days later running within plus two seconds per day. The timing sheet he handed over was a nice touch — I had not expected that.

Came in with a Seiko diver that just needed a refresh before I lent it to my brother for a trip. They cleaned it up, polished out some light scratches on the case, and confirmed the basic function was fine. Job was ready in three days. Could not fault the price for what was done. The wait time on bigger jobs can be a few weeks, which is worth knowing beforehand.

Chiang Mai · Restoration Package
My father's Longines had not been touched in about twenty years and the case had collected a lot of wear. I was not sure it was worth putting significant money into, so I asked for an assessment first. The assessment report was detailed enough that I felt confident proceeding with the full restoration. Three weeks later the piece was back — movement running cleanly, case looking closer to how it must have looked decades ago. Worth the trip from Chiang Mai.

Thanaporn Laoha
Lopburi · Mechanical Overhaul
Had a vintage Miyota movement that was stopping and starting. Dropped it off and heard back within two days with a clear explanation — worn click spring and dried lubricant throughout. Part cost was quoted separately, which I appreciated. Picked it up a week later running fine. Good clear communication throughout.

Ayutthaya · Light Service
Brought in a dress watch that needed a clean and polish ahead of a family event. The result was noticeably better — case surfaces much cleaner and the bracelet felt tighter than it had been. They found a small issue with the crown during the check and mentioned it as something to keep an eye on. Appreciated that they told me rather than just ignoring it.

Expat, Bangkok · Restoration Package
I had been putting off getting my Tudor serviced for years — partly not knowing who to trust with it. A colleague recommended Wristforge. The assessment was honest about the work required and the timeline was given realistically (they said four weeks and it was about that). The piece came back with timing readings, a pressure test certificate, and documentation of what had been done. Exactly what I needed to know the service had been done properly.

Case Study 01 — Mechanical Overhaul
A Daily Wearer Running Erratically
The Situation
A Miyota 9015 worn daily for seven years — no prior service. The owner noticed it losing roughly five minutes per day and occasionally stopping overnight. Brought it in unsure whether the movement had failed or simply needed attention.
What Was Done
Full disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning revealed dried lubricant throughout and a worn mainspring. Spring was replaced (quoted and approved), parts cleaned and reassembled with fresh oil at all service points. Regulated over two days.
The Outcome
Movement returned to within +4 seconds per day in multiple positions. Owner received timing sheet and component summary. Duration: 8 working days. Owner noted the watch had not run this accurately since new.
Case Study 02 — Restoration Package
Inherited Longines, Not Run in Fifteen Years
The Situation
An inherited Longines cal. 30L from the 1960s — not wound or worn in roughly fifteen years. The case showed significant surface oxidation, the crystal was deeply scratched, and the movement would not run at all on winding.
What Was Done
Full Restoration Package: movement disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, and regulated. Broken balance staff replaced. Case refinished to satin/polish combination per original spec. Crystal replaced with period-appropriate mineral glass. Gaskets renewed and pressure-tested.
The Outcome
Movement running within -8 to +12 seconds per day across positions — good for a vintage caliber of this age. Case finish close to original character. Water resistance confirmed to 3ATM. Duration: 3.5 weeks. Full written record delivered.
Case Study 03 — Light Service
Pre-Event Polish on a Gift Watch
The Situation
A gifted watch, about four years old, being prepared for a significant family occasion. Running well but looking dull with bracelet wear. Customer wanted a cosmetic refresh and a quick confirmation that nothing was functionally wrong.
What Was Done
Light Service: case and bracelet cleaned and polished, crown and pushers checked, movement function confirmed. Findings report noted that the movement was running acceptably but would benefit from a full overhaul within two to three years.
The Outcome
Watch returned in noticeably improved cosmetic condition in three days. Customer had a clear picture of its functional state with no pressure to proceed further. Price: ฿3,600 as quoted.
